Silicone Masterbatch are pelletized micro-dispersions of a particular ultra-high molecular weight siloxane in different plastic carrier resins at up to 50% loadings. The siloxane polymer component of the Siloxane Masterbatches prevents blooming as well as fluid and other organic plastic additive migration that can occur when utilizing lower molecular weight silicone/materials.
– To reduce coefficient of friction
– Improves scratch resistance on the molded article
– Used as a mold release agent
– Improves surface finish of extruded products
